BlackBerry Messenger to competing mobile platforms [VIDEO]

It's officially September, and by the end of this month, people using both iPhone and Android devices will have BBM available to them in the app stores. We've already seen a couple of screenshots of BBM running on an Android device, and now we'd like to share a video to go along with it.

The video above shows off a beta version of BBM for Android. It's running on my HTC First which, even though is a low-end device, runs it really well. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think about the app, and if you will be downloading it when it drops officially this month!

The arrival of BlackBerry Messenger to competing mobile platforms, iOS and Android, and is more than imminent, after the Canadian company launched a home page of BBM, so that new users of this courier go familiar with it.

This goes far beyond the beta launch of BBM to iOS and Android, launched a few weeks ago, for it seems to indicate that BlackBerry have everything ready for you, just dare to release the finished version of BBM, which will to compete directly with other heavyweights messaging services like WhatsApp, Skype, Facebook Messenger and Apple iMessage itself.

BBM has been one of the stars of the BlackBerry platform for years, and one of the main reasons that still maintains an interest in the mobile operating system. So when BlackBerry CEO, Thorsten Heins, announced the arrival of BBM to iOS and Android, the least he took it as one of the boldest moves, yet interesting, the company could do.

Although there is no exact date of the arrival of BBM to iOS and Android, I am increasingly convinced that could be given in the course of the next seven days.
